Public tours

During the summer season in May–September, public tours in Finnish are held at Ahola on Saturdays at 11 am. The tour is included in the price of the entrance ticket and requires no advance registration.

The tour describes the stages of the Ahola building, the exciting life of the family of Juhani Aho and Venny Soldan-Brofeldt and life in the Lake Tuusula artist community.

Book your own tour!

A guided tour for your own group can be ordered during Ahola’s opening hours by calling +358 40 315 2213 or by sending email to ahola@jarvenpaa.fi.

A guided tour for a group of up to 25 people costs €80 and the museum entrance fees. Groups larger than this are divided between two guides so that everyone can see and hear well. In this case, the guidance fee is doubled to €160.

In addition to the basic tours on the life and history of Ahola, you can also book a themed tour for your group from the list below. When ordering a tour, it is possible to make special requests regarding the content of the tour.
