By train! The R train stops at the Ainola stop, from where the walk to Ahola is about 1 km. There is a marked pedestrian route from the Ainola stop to Ahola.

By car! Ahola is easy to reach by car. There is a sign on Sibeliuksenväylä that directs you to turn into the courtyard of Ahola. Ahola has its own free car park.

By bus! Local buses from Järvenpää to Hyrylä and, in the summer, the Visit Lake Tuusula Bus operating around Lake Tuusula stop at the Ahola.

By bike or on foot Ahola is located along the pedestrian and bicycle route around Lake Tuusula, about 1,5 km from the centre of Järvenpää in the direction of Hyrylä and Tuusulan rantatie.
